Thanksgiving

We don’t have Thanksgiving here in the UK, but I thought today would be a good opportunity to say this: thank you for being here.

I couldn’t continue doing what I do without the kind support of customers, readers and friends around the world. I’m thankful for it every day.

  1. I fell behind this year, and now immersed in making for Christmas! New start in the New Year. Thankyou for your inspiring posts x

  2. Thanks for doing what you do Karen – it gives enormous amounts of pleasure! (Speaking for myself there, but I’m sure lots of other people would agree…xx)

  3. Just waking up here in the States on thanksgiving morning. It’s a complicated holiday for us as it is built on a complicated history we haven’t fully reckoned with. But yes, it is about gratitude. So thank you for all you have given us so generously — both your creativity and your creative encouragements. Your landscape class was a beautiful gift this year that snapped me out of a creative funk.

    1. Thank you so much, Tracy, that really means a lot to me. Yes, I totally understand the difficulties with Thanksgiving and its historical/cultural implications. I hope there is a way to reconcile both sides.

  4. Reading everyones replies makes me thankful there really are kind caring people in these crazy times❣️

  5. Thank you, Karen – my spirits are always lifted after absorbing (because there is always so much to take in on so many levels) one of your posts! I’m very grateful.

    1. Some are customers, some are visitors, and some are friends – and in many cases, all three at once. If that’s not a blessing I don’t know what is 🙂

  6. Always a delight to read your posts and see your beautiful creative work. Thank you for giving so much , so freely.
