Still working on paper, thinking things through. I don’t have a lot to say about this today. Not in words, at least. Colour, shape and composition have their own language that is universal and goes far beyond the limits of words.

I have started to draw what might become stitches.

wonderful mark-making … they feel cartographic and I can imagine how stitching them would create something much like a relief map … haptic

Yes, very archaeological, and as Liz A says, very cartographic. It’s always possible to winkle a few more ideas out of stitching these shapes, as well..
