It’s very disconcerting, the way time kaleidoscopes on us, isn’t it! I could have sworn it was April only last month!
It seems the older you get, the faster it flies
My, what a delight it always is to see/read what you have posted! I very much enjoyed your Klee posts. As another commenter noted, Kandinsky has also always been one of my favorite artists and very inspiring. Just a thought, as your creative range is quite amazing!
Thanks so much, Stephanie. There really aren’t enough hours in the day for all the things I’d like to do
Hi -I’m the crazy person from instagram commenting on your house-elf magic. I am looking forward to what you do with that bit of ribbon on the book cover, and excited on your daily sketches by the way the sun could not be contained. Oh, was it the solsticce, or just a particularly bright day?
Lovely to see you here, k – yes, you’re right, that was the summer solstice 🙂
Looking lovely and luscious.
I wish I could photograph the texture, it feels really soft
I can’t help noting the exceptional ease of the fabric in spite of the many varieties of thread weights and stitch densities … a tribute to your skill
Thank you 😊 The fabric is quite forgiving. The tension is a tiny bit off here and there but overall not bad considering I haven’t used a hoop on this. Yes, there is a very wide range of thread weight – the thickest is about perle 3, right down to very fine silk.
